God’s Promises & A Brilliant Rainbow

More than just a game of “I spy”. A little birdie God put here this morning. “Be still and know I am God”. (Ps. 46:10) This little one sat still right in front of me for a long time resting. This brought me joy. I can only imagine how much joy it must bring our Father in heaven, when we obey Him, and allow Him to quiet our hearts and minds from worry or any emotional distraction, as we rest in His everlasting arms. His Comfort and Perfect care and love.
I am so grateful He pointed out last night to immediately take worries to Him in prayer. Then thank Him for the promise of peace through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Phil. 4:6-7)
Promises. Oh promises of God! To see a rainbow over our home last night right after praying! In the most unexpected weather conditions, at 8pm, with no obvious rain but a day of intense heat. But there it was God’s Rainbow in a cloud. (Gen. 9:13-15)
This morning to awake to prayers answered for a son and I. A Rainbow. The birds of the air. The Scriptures to guide us into truth. Prayer. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Glory!
We are so grateful for a relationship with our Savior. His promises, that encourage, that even trials He uses for our good to mold and shape us for our everlasting home. Nothing goes unnoticed by God. Nothing is wasted.
To see Him overcome and refine our lives for good, that’s pretty much awesome. What a loving God. Lamentations 3:21-23
“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” Matt. 6:26
Seek First, His KINGDOM! His Spiritual purposes in refining a heart, mind, soul – the greatest things in the life! He will add to us faith, Spiritual riches, and fulfill every purpose and plan He has, for every activity under the heaven.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matt. 6:33
