I AM THANKFUL….
My relationship with God makes it possible to rise out of discouragement, and pain and…
BE THANKFUL
“be thankful in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” 1 Thess. 5:18
I AM THANKFUL that I CAN…
Rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS! The Joy of my Salvation.
His mercies are NEW EVERY single morning! Great is HIS faithfulness!
In Christ, I am able to throw off the weight… and RUN!
“…let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Heb. 12:1-3
In Christ, I am able to “buy the TRUTH, and do not sell it” Prov. 23:23
In Christ, I am able to “not grow weary in doing good” believing I will reap a harvest, if I do not lose heart. Gal. 6:9
In Christ, I am able to persevere in… LOVE – on behalf of others.
Because I know how much I am dearly loved by my LORD.
In Christ, I am more than a conqueror.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom. 8:35-39
If you have received the gift of Christ, SO ARE YOU!
May we always be thankful for the work of Christ on the cross. May we always be thankful for the gift of His Spirit in us-our HELPER. A Helper for ALL seasons, ALL circumstances, ALL times. May we always be thankful that this present sufferings cannot compare “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Rom. 8:18
May we cherish our Salvation, cherish knowing Christ more.
“that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained,[ or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 3:10-14
May we be thankful JESUS IS OUR VICTORY!
“This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” 1 Jn. 5:4
In Christ, I am thankful He that is in me is… GREATER!
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
I am thankful in Christ, with man, this is impossible, but … WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
I will praise Him today! Be thankful for this indescribable gift.
I am thankful I am given life, breath, to live out the gospel today.
“if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small” Prov. 24:10
No fainting. I will rise in the resurrection power of Christ my LORD!
In Deut. 20:1-8
God called people to battle. I AM THANKFUL He says, “DO NOT FEAR” (Read and enjoy Deut. 20 if you like.)
I loved it!
They were NOT to fear! The outcome of the battle would be ONLY determined, NOT ON ANY MILITARY strategy, BUT based on solely on obedience to the command! “do not be afraid” because the efforts of the soldiers was based on GOD’s POWER and HIS FAITHFULNESS!
I AM THANKFUL BY FAITH – I OVERCOME! Heb. 11
How about you? What trial do you face today? What circumstances seem impossible? What causes you to feel weary and worn? What gives you hope to carry on?
JESUS CHRIST the RISEN SAVIOR – HIS WORD daily – IS HOPE, STRENGTH, DELIVERANCE, and LIFE now and forevermore.
We are NEVER alone. Whatever we face today, the inner thoughts, and knowings, that no one else knows – GOD KNOWS! And He wants to be our HELPER. The One Who knows all!
I AM THANKFUL…
“Heavenly Father, You are a great and Mighty God. I thank You for sending Jesus to this broken world. I thank You, that You are not finished with us yet. I thank You that You overcome> I thank YOU for the gift of Your Son. I thank You for relationship with You. I thank You for being my Friend. Ruler of my heart and life. I thank You for meeting me in my weakness, and that Your beautiful grace carries Your children on to the Kingdom You are preparing for us! In Jesus Name, Amen”
