He’s been asking questions – to God be the glory! It’s a new thing! And I rejoice! Through the quiet and waiting and in varying seasons, buds spring forth!
“mom, WHERE did dad get those flowers?” Mom replies: “I don’t actually know WHERE. But let me ask you. Do you know WHO dad gave these flowers to?”
He replied: “he gave them to you mom”. Yes!
“And… son, let me ask you, WHY? WHY did dad give me these flowers? ”
“Because he LOVES you.” Exactly son.
And… lastly “HOW” do you think it made mom feel?
Answer: “happy”
WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY AND HOW? Bringing the connections to life!
We were given story cards awhile back with social scenarios to help bring connection to the world around.
However, I find even better than those, God presents the most beautiful opportunities within our daily living to take the REAL life and bring about the connections.
