Just have to give glory to God! Isaac Fights. He has fought. He will continue to fight. The Lord has fought for him. God will continue to fight. “the Lord will fight for you, you only need be still”. (Ex. 14:14) We have fought by his side, with him, for him. Endless answered prayers through a variety of unknowns, pain, joy, and VERY unique experiences-including tests, evaluations, procedures, scans, and on… as a Pediatric Stroke Survivor-Warrior.
Wonderful memories, and incredible innumerable victories have happened in his life and in our family as a whole.
Full of life. Full of passion. Full of goals and dreams. He knows nothing different than hard work, and ohhhh the “waiting”. God’s timing for all that pertains to his life. Father knows best. We continue to stand by our son’s side and cheer him on, and be the continued support to his next steps in life. “if God is for us, what can stand against?” Rom. 8:31
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him” James 1:12
A friend gave me this scripture while I prayed to be a mother, waited, and waited, and hoped for this dream to raise children and tell them all about the wonders of Jesus! That they may carry on a legacy of faith in Jesus Christ the Lord.
Wow!! 18 years!!! And I get to share this verse again with my son, as this handsome young man stands here today, knowing Jesus, knowing his value, knowing He has purpose, knowing that God chose him, not to only physically save him, but through faith in Christ Jesus as the Lord who came to save him both now and forevermore.
I was reading in Joshua Chapter 1 the other day:
“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land”
It made me think about Isaac’s life. How much opposition has come against in so many forms, I just cannot even tell – it has been huge. But God is faithful. And no one and nothing can stand against God’s plans. He is a promise keeper. I love God’s Words to Joshua as He led the people onward to the promised land.
We pray that Isaac’s life, our journey will point you to Jesus. Jesus the Savior of sins. Jesus the One Who will never leave or forsake. Jesus the One we can and should trust above all else. He is MIGHTY. And that is not just a “Christian” thing to say. His Word is MIGHTY. The voice of the LORD should indeed be listened to, obeyed, trusted, and followed far beyond any other voice, perspective, belief, and way.
Jesus is the way, truth and life. He is how we come to the Father, and have everlasting life. We live each day in the gifts God has given us, knowing any moment, could be our last moment our last breath on this earth. We hope you know this Salvation, and have received the gift of life, in a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ the Lord. We plead you know when your last breath is taken where you are going. And speaking of celebrating. Did you know? There is rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents!?? “I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:1
We look forward to CELEBRATING in the Kingdom that awaits with all the saints for all eternity!
Countdown to 18…. we celebrate everyday, but this 18th birthday party, OHHH I am so excited.
So grateful to God for all He has done.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Tim. 4:7-8
And then… 18 came!
Yahoo! Isaac is 18!!! At 8am I sang, leaped and danced this special song up and down the hallway as he arose today!! He smiled so big.
Yahoo! This is your celebration.
