From Overwhelmed To Overwhelmed – “Chosen for Such A Time As This”

I awoke. Overwhelmed. The amount of rapidly increasing sin, evil, lies, crime, wrong in this world. Seeing it, witnessing it while on a lunch date with a friend, and a thief at a nearby store bolted out the doors, disrupting the peace, security guards chasing after. The recent thief at the grocery store, alarms sounding. The cashier who said “they have become Brazen”. It’s really quite something in so many capacities to see what is taking place on levels of grand evil proportions. And even still, the witnessing of so many, vast and wide of people blinded by the obvious, enemy at work. I could go on, I am sure you could as well.

Add to this two young men of God, our sons. My husband and I are walking day by day with to guide, and so many decisions, and so much difficult, navigating through a dying, dark world. So much challenge, that we know only God can and will provide and guide us through.

“I will lead them in paths they have not known.
I will make darkness light before them,
And crooked places straight.
These things I will do for them,
And not forsake them.” Is. 42:16

I cried out to God and He delivered me, again this new day. His mercies anew every morning, GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS!

THIS IS WHAT CAME TO ME:
“God has chosen you for such a time as this”

If you are reading this dear fellow Christian saint in Christ, it is true, He has chosen you, to be here today, in all that’s unfolding, “for such a time as this”.
He chose to save us. He calls sinners us out of the darkness, into His glorious Light. We received, Jesus the Light in this dark world.

He has appointed us, 2022, THIS TIME.

What did Esther do so long ago when she was chosen “for such a time as this”? She approached God in prayer, fasting, sought Him. Gathered others to pray. She then went courageously, boldly, into a situation that meant her laying down her life, willing to die, if it be the case, to contend for her people, with hopes of redemption.
The result was a miraculous work of God. Esther showed great courage, through sacrificial love, and obedience to God.

Many years later, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, would come in love, the greatest act of sacrificial love, death on the cross, King of heaven, offering up His life, in order to save His people.
Through this great love and sacrifice, saints in Jesus Christ, Who chose us, saved us, as we received Him as Lord, received resurrected life through Him, are equipped to run this race with endurance.

As a Christian wife, mother, I AM CALLED, CHOSEN, FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.
God chose me. My family.

So how do I tackle this day in 2022 in victory? And the next? Notice I said tackle? We must rise up, from the overwhelming chaos around,

and live as soldiers of Christ. Walk on in Faith, in victory.
How? TRUTH SAVES!
“He who calls you is faithful, Who also will do it.”
1 Thess. 5:24

The Bible makes it clear that Esther was placed in her influential position “for such a time as this”—God’s purpose was accomplished through

Esther in the perilous time in which she lived.
We are living in perilous times!

It was just such a time—a time of crisis, a time that the Jews needed her. It was no accident that Esther became queen of Persia; she was there for a reason.
She was God’s instrument. And so are we, women of God. It is no accident we are here today. Our husbands, children, sphere of influence, need Jesus, Who is in us.
We serve the God who “works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will” (Ephesians 1:11). As the experience of Esther shows, God uses people in fulfilling His purpose. No matter what the situation, God has His instruments of deliverance and victory. “For such a time as this,” God has at the ready brave, committed, obedient individuals who will step out in faith and accomplish His work.

I am called as a wife, mother to these unique and amazing individuals who I prayed for before they were born, and am blessed to call my sons.
God wants wives and mother’s to embrace the TRUTH. We are instruments of God to minister, exhort, encourage, inspire, challenge, our children in Faith, Obedience, courage, growth, in their relationship with Christ their Lord.

We, like Esther, have meaningful choices to make. We are placed where God wants us to be “for such a time as this.” We are not here by accident. We have a God-given circle of influence.
My first and utmost priority is wife and mother. And yet, God in His power, as we are willing, in sacrificial service to our King, He will expand that influence as we desire to go out into the world, and share the gospel with anyone He puts in our sphere.

We cannot stand idly by while injustice occurs. We must pay attention to what’s happening around us and seek God’s direction in how He wants to use us.
He has placed each saint in these times, position, and the place He wants us to be. And He invites us to confidently join in His work. God gives us all we need to accomplish the tasks (no matter the enormity and challenges) He assigns, and He will use us in “such a time as this.”

Let us come boldly. Let us pray. Let us cinch up the waist belt of truth, and put on the full armor of God, in this evil day. Let us teach our young people, and stir them up with Zeal and Passion for their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Let us trade in the Overwhelmed emotions of this dark, blinded world for the OVERWHELMING LOVE OF CHRIST. Let us WALK IN GOD’S GRACIOUS LOVE, and learn greater sacrifice, for the serving of the Lord, as He uses us today, “for such a time as this”

Let us CHOOSE to fear the One True God, serve Him Only.

“Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15

“Hear my cry, O God;
Attend to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For You have been a shelter for me,
A strong tower from the enemy.
I will abide in Your tabernacle forever;
I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.”
Psalms 61
