They sought. They saw, from the eyes of their heart- belief. They rejoiced. They found. They fell to their knees. They worshiped. They gave gifts. They are the Wise.
“Behold WISE men from the east came to Jerusalem saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him”
“…and behold, the STAR which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”
We give gifts. By far, the GREATEST gift we can give to another is the telling of the TRUTH, LOVE, POWER, of God in the flesh, HUMBLE KING JESUS CHRIST WHO CAME TO BRING SALVATION. To save people from their sins, and give the GIFT of a new life, and everlasting Life.
THE GREATEST GIFT TO RECEIVE IS Forgiveness of sins, through Jesus Christ the Lord.
I love getting gifts that come from true love. I love giving gifts. By far, JESUS IS THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL.
The wise men sought out, pursued nearness to Jesus Christ the Savior. The wise men walked, traveled, pursued with determination, and responded in humble adoration, as they fell to their knees and worshiped Christ the King.
To Believe in the Lord Jesus as Savior, is to be wise. Wisdom will strain, pursue, go to whatever extreme measure, to be nearer to our Salvation, day by day.
God Almighty is a GIFT GIVER.
“Every Good and Perfect gift comes from above, and comes down from The Father of Lights…” James 1:17
Wise men gave gifts to Jesus. The earthly treasures, however, were given from a revered, humble, gratitude submission, in worship from within a pure motive, to honor the King of Kings.
“Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
For the Lord is the great God,
And the great King above all gods…
Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”
Merry Christmas ❤️
