NEW YEAR 2020 – Was gifted with such Words from my Lord this morning. NEW. RENEW. Wholly Trust in JESUS NAME.
MY HOPE IS BUILT ON JESUS AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
We will all die. What is the purpose? There is such a gift to know I am not going to hell but onward to heaven. Such an immense gift to know this today, as followers of Jesus live out each moment knowing the temporary things do not matter one bit, it is the things that matter to God, that have such immense, beautiful lasting for eternity, Kingdom of God purpose.
A NEW Covenant Jesus brought to offer to those who will receive – (Luke 22:20) He will forgive sin, restore fellowship broken by sin, with those whose heart turn toward Him. Create in me a clean heart and RENEW a right Spirit within me. (Ps 51). “That I will teach sinners Your way, and they shall be converted to You” Ps. 51:10 The best preparation for success in winning souls to God, and turning them from the error of their ways, is a deep personal experience of the guilt and the danger of our own sin – and the wonderful filled experience of the mercy of God. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD (Rom 3:23).
I am a great sinner, Christ is a great Savior – Therefore anyone who is in Christ is a NEW CREATION, old things have passed away, behold ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW. (2 Cor. 5:17 This life now lives for eternity in a continual process with a NEW PERSPECTIVE. No longer controlled by sin. Not living for temporal things. Living for the Kingdom to come. Not outward, this a NEW HEART within the depths of a person’s soul. Transformation work of Christ the LORD. New heart, new Spirit, new purpose for waking each day and living for someone other than ourselves (Ez. 36:26)
“He Who sat on the throne said “BEHOLD, I will make ALL THINGS NEW. And he said to me: “WRITE, for these words are FAITHFUL and TRUE” Rev. 21:5
I am a sinner, Christ died for me to SAVE ME. I know lost, and I have experienced being FOUND IN CHRIST. All I want is for others to know and experience this FREEDOM. I am called in my personal calling to share this, and I share because I am grateful for the Saving Work of Christ, His commandments in obedience that bring life! No hardened hearts will do. We must surrender to the KING and acknowledge HE IS LORD and we are in need of Him, and He has come to give us all we need. Refuse self, obey the calling, whatever it is personally in daily responsibilities. Obey it in LOVE for God and for others. Pray fervently for seeds sown, to be watered, and grow through HIS HOLY POWERFUL WORD. We are created for relationship with the KING OF HEAVEN. Beautiful, fellowship with Him and one another. And yet, I must examine and keep examining, and being sanctified, and though my flesh wrestles, the Spirit of God wins! Strength to Strength. Praise GOD!! To HIs name be the glory.
He is Savior. His love wins-His love- the Author of LOVE. “if you LOVE Me, You will keep My commands” Jn 14:15 Love that is firm, truthful, righteous, holy, perfect, strong, mighty, giving, sacrificial, steady, unwavering, and more. My cup that I received from my Isaac says: LOVE ALWAYS WINS. “Love MUST be SINCERE. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.” Rom. 12:9 Stand in love, and trust God more. Obey Him. Seek Him. Depend on His Word. Never grow weary in doing good, stand in His promises and receive His strength to press on for the Kingdom. God is the Creator of LOVE. It is HIS LOVE-TRUE LOVE that WINS, conquered sin and death and made a way for sinners to be forgiven and given everlasting life with Him. Love that offers a choice. “choose this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord” Josh 24:15 We must obey the call and come. He is the example. page to page in His Holy Word fitting together to show us the way to life. So grateful for one more day. One more moment to call upon Him as Lord. Who knows what 2020 holds? Who knows when Jesus will return? God only knows. Here today, falling on my knees and asking Him to lift me up in His strength and purpose. Amen.
