Who do I look like? My son Maximus says I look like Amelia Earhart.
I am so cold and don’t want to turn up the heat-its Spring!
So I threw this on before heading to help Max edit an article. I looked in the mirror and cracked up laughing. As I thought “Amelia Earhart”.
Then I asked Max who I looked like, instantly he said Amelia Earhart.
Then he took my picture. Couple minutes later I looked around and asked him if he has seen my glasses! Oh my!
Max is on a roll writing up a storm lately. I am grateful to be here in the heart of my home to assist him.
How awesome it was to read Revelations 19 with him this morning, marveling at our powerful King Jesus Who Lives, and is coming soon.
Speaking of flying… there is a time when the saints of Christ will be raptured, flown out of this earth and in an instant in glory! The dead in Christ, will rise first, and then all who remain will be caught up in the air to be with the Lord.
This knowledge before me each day, reminds me, of how precious our life is with our Savior and one another. God forgive me for every thing I have done in vanity, and forgive me for taking what I have been given in any given moment for granted. Praise Jesus He does! And He covers. Praise God, He also multiplies our meager yet heart-filled offerings, and blesses richly. We are called to work heartily unto the Lord. Making each moment count for eternity. We are called to press on, persevering in Faith. Looking onward to our future glory, in each moment, aim to do that which will bring glory, and eternal purposes of God.
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
Singing…
Some glad morning when this life is over
I’ll fly away
To a home on God’s celestial shore
I’ll fly away
I’ll fly away, oh, Glory….
Just a few more weary days and then
I’ll fly away
To a land where joy shall never end
I’ll fly away
