Classic Rudolph Nose-So Bright is God’s Light to Guide Our Life
One Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer nose -pointing the way to Jesus on this Merry Christmas Eve morning. Each day my guys get a scripture in stocking for Advent along with a little piece of chocolate. Today God opened my eyes to these cherry rounds, and an opportunity to grab from the classic Rudolph Movie we watched the other night, and add to the incredibly emotional, powerful, valuable lessons we discussed after it was over. Yes. A sweet fun-filled classic half hour movie, stirred up some good talks, pointing to rich truths, for us as Believers.
Rudolph’s nose lights the way in the darkness! Jesus is the Light! But even beyond I am including a verse on being Chosen and accepted in Christ. Misfits in this world as Believers, chosen and accepted in Christ to Whom we belong and His Kingdom.
Scriptures on the Light, Who guides our way in all that we do and say minute to minute day by day. The last scripture hit me so profoundly and cannot wait to share with my sons. Rudolph was considered a Misfit. And after the movie, some emotional discussions came about us relating to not being included, rejection, or not fitting in. We were all so encouraged as God turned that around into a positive truth for who we are in Christ. The reasons why these hard things happen to us in this world. When we walk with Jesus and follow His ways, we are not walking in sin and darkness. We will not, nor should we fit in with a mindset of sin and worldliness. Others will often not appreciate our presence or way. When we come to Christ as confessing sinners, trading a life of sin for new life in Christ. We will be different. We belong to Christ. In this TRUTH we can be who God has called us to be in confidence and know we are forever accepted. And pray for everyone.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” Ps. 119:105
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world.Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” In 8:12
“The people living in darkness have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” Matth. 4:16
“You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” Ps. 18:28
“But you are a CHOSEN people….God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:8
God gives us light to lead us – through Jesus the Living Word. He will lead us each day onward to our home where we will bask accepted in His glory full measure forevermore.
” The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp” Rev. 21:23
So Merry Christmas to all. Won’t you receive Christ the Savior as Lord and allow Him to Guide your life?
The gift that keeps on giving.
