Tromping through the beginning of Fall rain and mud of our backyard homestead….. while shouting words from our song – “I’m in the army of the Lord” (by Go Fish music)… while Joe reminds one boy who was just told he was “taken down” that he can’t be down, he has “everlasting” life – another boy looks stumped, I shout: “you know, you have JESUS in you, you have EVERLASTING LIFE”.  Another boy steps up.. “Oh, awesome, yeah, that’s right, I have everlasting life too!”

Welcoming 2 unexpected guests, God planted at our door step from the neighborhood ~ fellowship, teamwork, and rejoicing, around the basketball hoop…

Each one of the team adds a touch of God’s purpose to this mission-to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” 2 Peter 3:18.  Each young man training in God’s Mighty army has something to contribute to bring strength to the other.

“be strong in the LORD and in the POWER of HIS might – put on the WHOLE armour of God, so you can stand against the schemes of the devil.” Eph 6:10
