Biblical Thoughts in the Midst of Smoke Filled Skies

Found him here.
With all the fires, this morning it is super smokey and the temperature feels cool. He has been noting these changes and effects. Sun out full force, but with the smoke layer creating a cooling effect. How it reminds him of Noah’s flood, and the ice age that followed.
The likely volcanic activity that sent plumes of unimaginable smoke, how this must have hidden the sun in a similar fashion, making much cooler temperatures. The worldwide flood was extreme and nothing like it. Today he is out here documenting for his website Maximusadventures.com.
He shares how those who believed in God during Noah’s time were saved, and it was only 8, those who did not, perished. He speaks that Jesus is coming again, and as in Noah’s time, today He is giving others time to repent, turn to God and be saved. “If people believe in Jesus and accept Him as their Savior, repent of their sins, they will spend eternity with Him. Those who reject Him, go their own way, will perish”. God had told Noah to build that ark, and to tell and warn, of what was to come. God tells us to do the same. We have been saved! We continue to repent and turn to Him in a daily commitment, as Pilgrims pressing onward. Go out into the world and preach the gospel. Jesus came, He is coming again! He will set up His forever Kingdom where all the saints will dwell together with Him in the new heaven and earth. Jesus IS coming. We must repent, turn to God, and see His glory, now and forevermore.
“By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” Heb. 11:7
“For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24:38-39
1 Peter 3:1
