“The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” Ps. 19:1
On days like this, coming out of winter, merging into Spring, with yet darker days, looming grey skies still thick upon us,
when one of us in our family sees even a glimpse of the sun we have prayed for, we announce, THE SUN!
I see the SUN! We rejoice! The sun is a direct gift from God.
How much more we yearn for more of THE SON TO SHINE – JESUS CHRIST – in our darkest of days and trials of life.
“Just one glimpse again, please, Lord. Just a glimpse of Your glory, to shine.
Break through the clouds of darkness, and show Your Power and Your glory in our lives, to us, again, today, we pray”.
He does! He shines! Open up your Bible. Take in His immense glory. Spend time immersed in Him, His way, His thoughts, His presence.
The richness of His Very WORDS LIGHT our way each minute of the day.
Will we walk His way?
Spend time in prayer. Kneel before the Lord our Maker. Thank Him for coming.
Jesus the LIGHT Who came into this dark world of sin, and brought HOPE-the GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE.
Receive JESUS into your life.
He will cleanse the darkest places of our personal sin, as well as sin and hurt inflicted upon us,
we receive forgiveness, we forgive others, we are healed, we are saved. Sorrow and pain washed away.
Filled by the LIGHT of Jesus Christ, His Holy Spirit, our Helper, Who leads us to everlasting life .
Rejoice! The SON! JESUS! He has come! His Light shines in the darkness!
This SON! OH! Power. Majesty. Glory!
The SON is a direct gift from God in heaven above!
He is coming again! Yearn for more and more of Him. Receive the touch of THE SON. In the abiding of His Word, relationship day by day.
“The path of the righteous is like the morning sun,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day” Proverbs 4:18
Just one touch! Just one glimpse! The yearning for healing and deliverance from the brokenness and suffering in this world.
Kneel down, ask in faith, to be touched and healed of sorrows and pains. Recognize Jesus is the One and Only, God. He saves.
As I mentioned our family will pray for even a little glimpse of the sunshine on a dreary Spring day, have you ever prayed this?
“For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” (Matthew 9:21)
I have thought and prayed this, pleaded. Drawing nearer, reaching out to the Lord. Reaching for a scripture, praying a heartfelt prayer,
“just a touch from You Jesus. I know it is YOU Who will sooth my soul I will be made well”
I know my Jesus, and I know He does this, for me, and will do this for you. Do you?
Look what He does: “But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said,
“Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.” (Matthew 9:22)
There is a warmth, a beauty, a touch beyond any. This is the touch of a very present God, Who delights to make us well.
It is well with my soul this very hour.
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Cor. 4:6
