For This I Pray

When someone asked me the other day, how can I pray?
This day, the reply was not a request relating to anything on this earth. Even In the midst of everything on this earth, and personal needs.

This day, the reply was these words: “That I may “Be still” and know He is God”.

Knowing HE IS GOD. Knowing in a deeply rooted knowing of the intricacy, intimacy, power, love, authority, and care God has for His own.

There is a calm, a peace, that His Spirit gives to His children. He takes care of us. He gives grace.

He does allow our faith to be stretched, tested, for our good,

and even above and beyond for His good purposes. Even the hardships produce the inward character of the heart,

for those who are willingly fashioned by Him. He is beautiful.
He alone is sufficient every step, and on to another. Minute by minute, day by day.
As a genuine believer, walks intimately with Jesus Christ their Lord, we walk by faith, not by sight.

Looking only to Jesus Christ, Who is our Savior.

In Matthew 8:27 – Jesus arose in the midst of a storm. “… Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.”

Take it in. Jesus Christ spoke, and even the winds and the waves obeyed Him.

There… was… a… great… CALM.

This is what Jesus Christ does! Will we obey?

May Jesus Christ be invited to rise within us and over every concern upon our hearts.

May His every Word be the rebuke, the command, the POWER over every fear, to conquer the storm within.

By His Spirit may we walk today, desiring above all, more than any earthly thing,

the STILLNESS, calm, peace, as we obey Him in faith. Surrendered. Trusting Him.

“He has shown you, what is good….
and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
May we walk humbly, looking to the God Who saves.
May we BE STILL AND KNOW HE IS GOD.

To Him alone be the glory. Amen.
