Life On Earth is Short – Eternity is Long

“Only one life will soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last”

As a follower, disciple of Christ Jesus my Lord, this truthful reminder always gives me the push to plunge into proper perspective, at the start of another day.

Go. Live for Jesus. Trust and obey, Him. Even the everyday living, of grocery shopping, household responsibilities, everything, can be used for God’s Great Eternal purposes, when we LIVE ALL IN, in His presence, and by His every Word. We CAN sing, pray all day, talk, tell about Jesus. Invite Him to examine our own personal character, repent, be refreshed, renewed.

WHATEVER we do, DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. (1 Cor. 10:31)

Share Jesus. Lift up others with the truth and love of Christ. Refuse the flesh, complacency, and the doubts and lies of the evil one who desires we be stagnant, and do nothing important today. When we have Christ Jesus, we have everything we need, to live His way, for Him today. No matter where we are, no matter our circumstances, we live, because of His great love.

We belong to Christ.

Our time on earth is short. What investments is God calling us to make today, in light of eternity?

“Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” James 4:14

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:36-39

Who are my neighbors today? Husband, children, are my nearest neighbors, and there sure is a lot of opportunity to invest in them today.

Every person we make a connection with in neighborhood, out in the world.  Our neighbors!  Much opportunity to invest for God’s Everlasting Kingdom Purposes!

Let not MERCY AND TRUTH forsake you….(Proverbs 3:3)

As you live in God’s mercy and truth, sharing this mercy and truth with the world, the very sphere of  opportunity to influence the people the Lord has in your life today,

the gospel message, life in Him.   For His glory.
