“I look to the mountains; where will my help come from? My help will come from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”
Psalms 121:1-2
The other day our family visited here. We hiked some small hills and arrived at this beautiful plateau. Here you see my husband’s finger pointing to the mountains across the way.
What a sweet reminder, when we look at God’s glorious creation of mountains, that we always have a Helper to be our all in all through life.
I actually sat up here that day, for a few minutes all by myself. I needed to have a little talk with God. I had been struggling over quite a few challenging areas of life, and felt pretty mentally tapped out. It was good to sit up here and just pray to the Lord, my Helper. Life may be full of ups and down, but the Lord is definitely the One Who I depend on to help me through it all.
I pray You have received the Lord as Your Savior. I thank God for you.
What’s something you have looked at this week in God’s creation that has brought to mind something special about Him?
Please share in the comments. I would love to hear.
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” Jn. 14:15-18
As I looked up at the heavy dark cloud cover, there was an opening of blue sky. I envisioned the rapture. The world will be covered with a heavy cloud of oppression, but those who love the Lord will be taken up in glory to be with Him. I must be patient, but I can’t wait. ♥️
Paula. That is beautiful and thank you for sharing. I love it. and I am with you. I can’t wait. I must also, be patient. We have been talking about the rapture a lot with our family. Pretty amazing to reflect on. I also, LOVE viewing the sky all the time! And so much to see and reflect in God’s glory and ways.
