Morning Dew – Morning Mercies

Was just thinking about how desperately I need Jesus this morning. I looked out my backyard and saw the dew glistening on our trees. It just caught my attention so boldly. It touched my heart to the core. Dew is a symbol for Spiritual blessing over God’s children, a promise of fruitfulness, abundance. I needed that reminder today. When the circumstances hit heavy, and dark clouds roll in, there is always the Light of Jesus, and the morning mercies. Dew of heaven! God bestows blessing upon His people. If God is for us, who or what can stand against? No one, nothing.

“The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, By understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the deeps were broken up, And the skies drip with dew”. PRov 3:19-20

As Moses, called by God, to speak for Him, and acknowledged his weakness, so do I. As Paul, called to speak, acknowledged his weakness, so do I, but I also acknowledge as Paul and the testimony of Moses – that God’s GRACE is just that. GRACE upon GRACE – sufficient and His power made perfect in weakness! With God, dependency on His power – Moses parted the seas, and led through great difficulty, through the wilderness, and to the promised land. With God’s power Apostle Paul continued to praise God, and rely upon Him, proclaiming the truth all for love.

“Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak;
And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
As raindrops on the tender herb,
And as showers on the grass.
For I proclaim the name of the Lord:
Ascribe greatness to our God.
He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He.” Duet. 32

“Father in heaven, I thank You for Your mercies new every morning. I thank You for taking my eyes to Your mercies and faithfulness through looking at the dew you sent down from heaven. Thank You God, that Jesus came down, as our greatest blessing, to give life now and forevermore. Thank You for the faith, strength, hope, gifted to Your children each day, through the blessings of our Savior. Thank You for Your promises to continue in Your faithfulness to rain down upon Your children everyday, fresh dew, fresh Spiritual blessings, fresh Spiritual zeal, and that You will produce abundance. As I speak today, may You gift me like Moses, Paul, and uniquely gift me like “me” Your called one. May You gift me from the inside out by the power of Your Holy Spirit and by Your Spiritual Fruit, to proclaim Your truth and love. Thank You Lord that when I am weak, in Christ Jesus, I am Strong. IN Jesus name Amen”

“She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” Prov. 31:26

“Now may God give you of the dew of heaven, And of the fatness of the earth, And an abundance…”
Genesis 27:28

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;his mercies never come to an end;they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lam. 3:21-23

This post has nothing to do with Coronavirus. Or having to be at home, because I LOVE BEING AT HOME in the blessing as a Proverbs 31 Woman of God I get to live out each day. Let me set that straight. There is so much more than “viruses” to be concerned about. And yes, I am concerned for the dying and all those affected by this virus. I am using this time at home to pray fervently for the world. But I am mostly concerned not only for every soul out there to know Jesus and be saved, but also the continued saving work in my own life and “as for me and my house we will serve the Lord” I know there are emotions, and circumstances that each person faces today that have nothing to do with a “virus” because if this virus did not exist, many other hardships exist every single day. We all are tempted to run to something to try and take control and to fill our desperate need. A need for security. The core of our hearts needs a peace only found in Jesus. To set our minds on things above where Christ is seated. He is still ruling, reigning and preparing a place for His people. It always goes back to the desperate need for more of Jesus. It’s the desperate cry for Spiritual matters that weigh heaviest on my heart. And I thank GOD – He gives abundantly through Christ Jesus our Lord. And I press on today, here. For the sake of the Kingdom to come.
