When you realize that “ouch” you’ve been feeling is something to rejoice in! The VERY LOVING HAND and PRESENCE of God upon your life…. Pruning season! THIS IS LOVE. I can look at the “ouch” with JOY that the Father is very much present and taking great care, working on my behalf in fulfilling His purpose and plans for me – removing all of no value, and promising to produce what HE knows is so much greater.
“….my Father is the gardener, and every branch that bears fruit HE PRUNES, that it may bear more fruit. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit…abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” FROM JOHN 15
He is so LOVING!! I cried out to Him yesterday in this ongoing “thing” and said “I just really need to feel Your love”…. later that day I sat down I said “Lord, I need to hear from You.” I opened the WORD and somehow “pruning” came to me, as I was reflecting on all these things that He has directed us to change up, remove, etc..etc… and I went to JOHN 15 and I was OH MY GOODNESS… I have so been missing this. THIS HAS been HIS LOVE I HAVE BEEN FEELING THE WHOLE TIME… HOW LOVING HE is to PRUNE away what is not good for me (for my sons) and make way for greater things…. and He says THIS IS MY WORD SPOKEN TO YOU…. THAT MY JOY WILL REMAIN IN YOU. Wow!!! Wow… wow…!! I had been making requests for a good 8 weeks for desires of my heart (You will ask for what you desire and it will be done for you)…. HE HAS BEEN LOVINGLY AND ACTIVELY PRUNING IN ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS!!! I had been feeling “Ouch, ouch… somethings not right”…. when actually it is quite the contrary.
