The Journey With Isaac and Jesus

A surreal morning -April 11th, 2022
God is in control. He says to the snow “fall on the earth” Job 37:6.

Dear Friends,

I write this to you, because we have been on a very unique and special journey from before our son was born. I write to give God ALL the glory. Isaac had a stroke right before birth. At birth straight to life support. God saved him. Later Jesus saved his soul. MUCH has been challenging for all these years. Much painful hard news from neurologists, and knock downs of life. With JESUS, however, He shines so very bright, and has been ALL SUFFICIENT AND GIVEN US INCREDIBLE BLESSING AND JOY. Jesus is GREATER!

The fact he is working a job, and the way God made it possible, is  another obvious testimony to His Spirit’s faithful leading. Last week, his boss called. He offered Isaac day shift hours, three days a week, more hours, giving him evenings and weekends off! Incredible. Why? Because he said Isaac is trustworthy, hard-working, prospering, has energy, stamina, and truly cares. He wanted to bless Isaac.

Today, Monday April 11th is his first new shift. 9-4.  And then, we woke to snow! I could not get my car out. Stuck. So Isaac, Soldier serving Christ the Lord, happily walked 35 minutes to work. I stood outside, tree branches were cracking and falling. Eery sound!

You better believe I was concerned. I was praying.  My husband was at work, praying.  (Afterall, my hard-working man, worked alongside both our sons, teaching them for years to be hard-working young men. Praise God.  His amazing grace).  Thanking God for His protection over Isaac’s life, and that He will never leave or forsake him. When worry would grip me, I turned again to prayer.

Isaac arrived safely. I pray that God will give Isaac ability to understand the new training. He will be training on how to prepare the restaurant for opening, and then continuing the dishwasher job he has been doing since October.

I give glory to GOD’S awesome scriptures. I cannot say enough about the importance and power of teaching our children the scriptures, and how to apply to our lives in every tiny detail all day long, helping them to connect with a relationship with God. We are all a people of great need! Jesus is our need!

This scripture has been one our sons have been memorizing in past year. Isaac turning back to it, as he waited for God to say “yes” to many things he desired, but needed to keep waiting.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

I have no greater joy than for my children to walk in THE TRUTH. For Isaac to learn hard and important lessons, including to seek God first, and trust Him to add to his life, exactly God’s will, and nothing else… and to wait, wait, wait, on the Lord, seeking Him.

For him to memorize this scripture, obey it, pray it, and SEE GOD MOVE. All to the glory of God.

Again. I write because when we are placed in circumstances that are seemingly impossible, and even the voices of “others” and crushing blows come, keep fighting as a soldier of Christ, and live by every Word of God! Give Him glory due His name.

I pray you have a blessed day. May you know the love and power of God, the precious gift of Salvation for now and eternity through Christ Jesus the Lord. Pressing on, we go.

Sincerely,
Servant Soldier of Christ
