THE TRUTH SETS US FREE-WAR TORN FROM LIFE’S BATTLES – PROMISED VICTORY
FREE through the Rescuer Who came to set us free!

As Christians, we know life on planet earth is a battlefield. We know through every trial, sorrow, pain, we persevere through, every war torn piece of our hearts, God has accomplished and conquered, He is the victory over the enemy. His own are free from the power of sin. In this freedom, through Christ the Lord’s own blood, Faith is the victory, our victory, over every sting on this earth!

In the midst of sorrows there is rich comfort from God Himself. There is promise. There is strength. There is JOY and peace to be had that guards a Child of God’s heart and mind. There is sorrow. Yet we are always anchored in a rejoicing in the all encompassing knowledge of the love and Faithfulness of our Great Rescuer. It’s not a fake joy or putting on a front. It’s real. Jesus Christ Himself. The joy of the Lord is our strength. We will cry. We will mourn. We will carry it all to Jesus Christ. In prayer we will leave it there in His powerful care as many times needed in a day. We will rise up in HOPE and rejoice in Jesus Christ Who has secured our victory!

Our Final Victory
“…then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“Oh Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord”.
1 Cor. 15

– The sting of death is sin; but Christ, by dying, has taken out this sting; he has made atonement for sin, he has obtained remission of it. Death cannot hold a believer in its power. How many springs of joy to the saints, and of thanksgiving to God, are opened by the death and resurrection, the sufferings and conquests of the Redeemer! In verse 58, we have an exhortation, that believers should be steadfast, firm in the faith of that gospel which the apostle preached, and they received. Also, to be unmovable in their hope and expectation of this great privilege, of being raised incorruptible and immortal. And to abound in the work of the Lord, always doing the Lord’s service, and obeying the Lord’s commands. May Christ give us faith, and increase our faith, that we may not only be safe, but joyful and triumphant-B.A.C.

Odd place, a parking lot photo. Long story. But just welling up with gratitude and sharing the Lord’s mercies each new day in spite of the pains and stings in this life and though many, we can have hope through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Anchored securely in everlasting life. We are free from the power of sin and death, and free to live by Him, for Him – looking to Him and persevering in confident victory, through and with the strength of Jesus Christ our Lord.
