January 2nd! We are cleaning today! Oh how I love the LORD! At 2:30 am on the second day of this New Year, I was awoken by His grace to get on my knees for some Spiritual cleaning of my own, this temple of the Holy Spirit.
NOW… cleaning this house as a family – literally! While the Lord directs me to share with our sons, the Spiritual applications along the way! Currently a son washing down the outside of kitchen cupboards, I had told him, examine it from all direction, allow the light to expose the filthy places, so that you may remove it all, and it shall be shining and clean! The Lord Jesus is the LIGHT, as we allow Him and His very Words to examine us, He exposes the dirty places, and cleanses us again, that we may shine, by His GRACE! For His glory!! Thank YOU JESUS.
I had just given them a morning scripture as they arose to a new day. “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a Light unto my path” Ps. 119:105
The LIGHT EXPOSES –
“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires”. (Hebrews 4:12)
Test me, LORD, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; Ps. 26:2
“See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalms 139:24
