This evening I made unleavened bread to go along with a teaching in Matthew 16:5-12

Jesus warned the disciples to beware of false doctrine.

He referred to false doctrine as the leaven or yeast  in bread. A little yeast in a lump of dough infiltrates, spreads rapidly, and affects the entire loaf. Jesus was warning to be on guard for false teaching as even given the slightest opportunity to enter into a person,  will spread rapidly to affect the whole person, and even an entire family, church, and so on.

Flee evil. Have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness. Watch carefully, be not as fools, but be wise, for the days are evil.

I continue to be a discerner of truth and falsehood. And we continue to teach our sons, as we disciple them as Christ Jesus taught the disciples.

Beware! Don’t be ignorant. Stick to the book, the bible, as the WORD sufficient for all we need.

“Jesus said to them:. Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees ” Matthew 16:6

“Then they understood, He was telling them to beware of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees” Matthew 16:12

False teaching is prevalent today. We know that all false teaching comes from Satan the master manipulator and father of lies.

I am thankful for the Word of God. The Lord calls the true church to guard the truth, expose error, hold firm to the truth, and defend the truth.

No greater joy do I have, than to hear my children are walking in the truth.

Tonight we enjoyed this unleavened bread I made to go with our dinner. In our commitment to beware, and on guard for false teaching, and not allow it into our lives.

A way in which to symbolize the “leaven” or false doctrines JESUS HIMSELF warns us to BEWARE of and not let enter our life even in the most smallest of ways. Because any compromise of just a little, is inviting in a corruptive influence that is going to spread rapidly and affect much and many.

Thanking Jesus Christ our Savior, the Truth that sets us free.

May we obey His command:  BEWARE!
