No Matter What – Jesus

Praise God His children can run to Him.  He is with us in the pain of the night.  Sometimes, like last night, after I have risen, prayed, rested, the pain is taken away.  Often, I pray, and I know He is always with me, steadfast in the pain, that remains. I continue to run to Him, in the pain, in the rain, in the night, when the moon is bright, when the skies are dark, when the sun shines, when it rises, when it sets again.

Today, this day, I walk in freedom from physical and emotional pain that I experienced in the night.  This night, He set me free from this physical pain.  Many nights, I endure.  This morning, I rejoice in freedom.  I rejoice  how the pain of the night, draws me to Him EVEN deeper, and allows me to wake with new and holy perspective on so many emotions of my heart.

As I walk today, in the pouring rain, I rejoice in this freedom.  I look forward to the life ahead, that has been graciously given to His children.  The freedom to come forevermore.  This release, even for a moment of physical and emotional pain that leaves me so grateful and satisfied, gives me a foretaste of the pure freedom that awaits.  I can only imagine.

Whatever pain we suffer on any given day, physical, emotional.  There is a Savior Who promises to walk with us.  If we chose to take His hand and follow Him.  If we run to Him, as our all in all.  Father, Savior, Friend – Jesus.

The King of the Universe.  He knows pain.  He humbled Himself to walk through this sin stained world, carried a cross,  took sin upon Him, in order to secure salvation and freedom, for those who receive this gift, repent, acknowledge that freedom comes from living with Christ .

We run to many things, and nothing this world  has to offer will satisfy a longing thirsty soul.

One day every person will close their eyes to this world, and open them again into eternity. When you close your eyes and breathe your last here, where will you awaken to – darkness and the depths of hell and bondage forever?  Or awaken to freedom, heaven, Jesus – Joy forevermore?

Why not run to the Lord.  Those same arms stretched out on a cross, are the same arms wide open, calling you to run and receive His love, mercy, grace, forgiveness, freedom, and life now and forevermore?

I share this for my sons.  I share this for the glory of my Lord.  I want to share this with the world.

I share this as MANNA to pass on to others, even to  (if the Lord should tarry in His coming again) the next generations.  Manna was an old Testament provision by God to supply life for His people.  They were commanded to keep a piece of this physical “bread” from heaven to pass on as a testimony to the next generations.

Then God sent Jesus.  Bread from heaven.  Manna.  Life.

Pain on that cross produced such beauty!!!  Thank You Jesus!

I pray you experience the fullness of Christ, freedom, joy, the love He has to offer, now and forevermore.

I know the life of desperation running to this and that hoping to be satisfied. The temporary fixes of this world.  And I know the real permanent satisfaction in continuing to run to the Father, Whose Word and promises will always give me what I need through all circumstances and times.  I know the beauty of prayer.  That He answers.  Sometimes not immediately, sometimes in a very different and unexpected way.  The communion of His Word and prayer.  Worship and song.  This song, God gave me to sing today.  I am thankful for all the saints in Christ Who sing this with me.  I hope for many more to sing the song of victory in Jesus.

On the nights when the dark last a little bit longer
When the wind and the storm is a little bit stronger
When the fear in my heart dips a little bit deeper
When my faith to stand gets a little bit weaker
Where could I run to?
Where could I go?
Even when it feels like my world is shaken
Even when I’ve had all that I can take
I know
You never let me go, whoa
And even when the waters won’t stop rising
Even when I’m caught in the dead of a night
I know
No matter how it ends
You’re with me even then
When the days up ahead look a little bit brighter
But the grip of the past holds a little bit tighter
I’m reminded Your grace never asks for perfection
Oh I’m restored ’cause I’m Yours and I stand forgiven
And even in the middle of a struggle
And even when it’s hard to remember
You alone are my defense when
I’m standing on Your promises and I know
That even in the thick of the battle
And even through the valley of the shadows
You alone are my defense when
I’m standing on Your promises so
No matter how it ends
You’re with me even then

“Not only so, but we[a] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.  And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5

” He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—” John 1:10-12

“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”  Matthew 25:46

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”  Revelations 21:3-5
